Gloom

Oh well, another wet day.

The good news?

I enjoyed my coffee and Danish pastry at the Cafe Wemyss. I am always conflicted when I go there. Do I sit at one of the window seats (as I did today) or at one of the other tables where I can people watch?

In a perverse way I enjoyed sitting warm and dry inside while watching the people outside rushing around in the rain. The best of both worlds, I suppose. 

More good news - I borrowed three books from the library and all of them are promising. I have plenty time to read at this time of year, with long evenings indoors. 

Now I need to have a wee think about which Parkrun I can do on Saturday, and what other plans I can come up with for the rest of the weekend.
