but the phone does! It wasn't really as bright as this on a dull damp morning.
Usual Thursday morning of cafe shopping, starting cafe set-up, Health Walk and cafe itself.
We were very busy today - there were nearly 20 people in before we were even officially open (we didn't want to leave them standing in the rain) and in an hour we'd served at least 25, most of whom had something cooked. As far as I'm aware we got all the orders right though one person sent her bacon back as it was too crispy, fortunately I had just about cooked another couple of rashers.
Once home and sorted out I had a very short run in the rain which was getting steadily heavier and have stayed in all evening.
It's still raining hard and the forecast said it would continue for a couple of days, but not as heavy as last week. I hope there isn't any more flooding, the burn is well down but still above normal levels.
