Story time

The lady with the kids is an OT and one of the favourite people in the school from the kid’s perspective.

They sat outside the window of my office for a good hour or so listening to the story she was telling, with one wee lad happily braiding her hair.

I was sorry to disturb them as I reversed out of my parking spot.

It’s been a really busy day so I was happy to get home for some peace and quiet.

One of our neighbours appeared at the gate with treats for the rampaging hooligans, and a bottle of bubbles to share as a wee ‘travel safely’ treat.

A long sit in the garden was just what I needed, and the bubbles were delicious.
