Ta

We have been reviving parcels for a few days and they all have a theme: thank you and good luck. Today is the day that PY is leaving a 20-year job to embark on something new and we have had cards and presents galore from the current place. 

I thought that, because there would be no leaving do, I would take him out to dinner. We went to Sticks’n’Sushi in Wimbledon: possibly PY’s favourite place.  We had a delicious sharing platter. He started the evening with a celebratory, if that’s the right word, cocktail.  Apart from the very loud, and slightly drunk, woman at the next table who was complaining to her companion about her boyfriend, the evening was lovely.  I thought it was nice to mark the day in some way.
