Picking Up The Pieces

There are some days when you wish the hours flew until the moment you were apprehensive about had passed, such a day was today.
I enjoyed my return to Annie’s after eight weeks, although I saw Jade a month ago you like what you are used to, normal pedicure service is resumed.
A meeting in the evening, that I hadn’t been looking forward to was thankfully over in an hour and not the ordeal I had convinced myself it would be.

The picture shows the boat hoist in the boatyard in a bit of a sorry state. A week or so ago its hydraulics failed and it ended up on the foreshore which is not good news for the boatyard as it is ‘lifting time’, the period where boats are lifted out for the winter, impossible to replace at short notice and none available to hire.
