Raindrops

The focus is all over the place in this, which kind of reflects today for me. I pottered round the garden in the rain to get this shot while Dad and and the cats sat inside and watched me through the window.

Oh god. What a day. I got a text yesterday morning asking if I could work 6:00-3:30 today and I agreed because I called in sick last week and I felt really bad about that. It's a marathon of a shift and although I did manage to sleep quite well I still had to get up at 5:30, which is basically the middle of the night for me. I was working with a new guy which was weird because I sort of had to train him but I'm not his manager or anything so I felt a bit odd giving him directions. It was an okay shift but I was going a bit stir crazy by the time we finished!

I had a lovely relaxing evening of cooking shows and spaghetti so that kind of made up for the long day.

I'm not too impressed with this photo, but the others were worse so I went with it. I cannot figure out where the focus is on this. It all just looks kind of blurry to me!
