Mussels.

Just home from a very enjoyable few days in North Norfolk..
We left Holt in glorious sunshine but it was dull and mizzle when we arrived home.

We called at Gurneys Fish Box, Drove Orchards, Thornham on the way.
Purchased a kilo of Brancaster mussels, as well as some Howgate Wonder cooking apples from Drove orchards shop.

We had to get back for MrC 's appointment at Dewsbury hospital for his eye scan prior to his injection next Thursday. 

I got all the washing done and then we opened a bottle of wine and enjoyed the mussels cooked the Spanish way with tomatoes, red chilli  and sweet red pepper sauce.
A nice change from moules marinière.

We have had a wonderful few days in Norfolk.  Wish it had been longer, but looking forward to returning again next year.
