Holy Island

Today's the day . . . . . . . . . . . to indulge

A beautiful sunrise over Holy Island just off Lamlash this morning - and time to leave our base for the week.  This was the view from the front door.

We said goodbye to Rob, Anna and the girls who were off on the ferry back to the mainland (see extra).  We had the day to ourselves to do a bit of lighthearted geologising - and we're now ensconced in a lovely hotel in Brodick.

Just the place to watch the final of the Rugby World Cup in Paris . . . . . . . . !
