Carlingwark Loch

Today's the day ........................ for an early sunset

The days have been quietly getting shorter (at both ends), without me really noticing it.

And then, of course, the clocks went back in the early hours of yesterday morning which has further emphasised the early arrival of sunset.  I was still in Castle Douglas doing a bit of shopping this afternoon when I happened to see the colours in Carlingwark Loch.

It will soon be time for me to go into hibernation, for the winter ....................
