Peakshole Water

A wander around Buxton in drizzle this morning. We strolled through the Pavilion Gardens and continued on to the wonderful Scrivener's second-hand book shop (where I resisted temptation and left  a copy of New Hart's Rules on the shelf!). Time for a quick coffee before walking back to the van.

We drove home via Castleton, where we stopped for a short walk up to the entrance to the Peak Cavern (aka the Devil's Arse).  The stream in the Blip is Peakshole Water, which flows through and out of the cavern. Resolved to go back to Castleton some time next year to visit some of the caves.

Home in time for a bite to eat before MrM left for a music session in Huddersfield.
