Bedfordshire Post Box

One I’ve had on the radar to get for a while. Biggleswade high street. It’s a VR from Queen Victorias reign 1837-1901. I’ve only ever seen wall versions although there are still the free standing styles still around.

We had a run down to Biggleswade tip today, then the plan was to drive into town and wander round the Vintage Vehicle Day in the market square. However it was difficult to park, peeing down with rain and there were only a couple of buses that were actually there. We did pass a United Counties 176 on the way in, which was on a village run and absolutely jam packed with people.

As we drove through town, the traffic was stationary right by the VR postbox, so I got a quick phone shot and we headed home.
