¡Salud!
We all know the Spanish love to party into the night and in my opinion the Valencians enjoy partying even more than your average Spaniard! Our street has lots of cafes and bars (the noise increases as we near the weekend) and last night the noise was off the scale until about 5am (and we have very good double glazing!) We were then woken up again at 7.30am (new time as clocks went back during the night) at first we thought it was more revelry and then we realised that this time it was a religious procession!
We set off back to the Cabanyal (beach area) shortly after breakfast. This time to go to the Flea Market. Huge with lots of tat and the occasional find. I think that I did quite well with this ceramic set for 5 euros. We had drinks and a burger for no 1 son in the local food market and listened to some American folk music in the venue we like.
We relaxed in the evening with a Netflix film after I cooked us all a fish dish.
