It has been another day of almost constant rain with cars throwing up spray in the huge deep puddles across the roads.  Blocked road drains appear to be the reason and we passed a tanker trying to suck up a large pool of water at a busy intersection.  Now it is raining only lightly but tomorrow morning more rain is forecast although it should clear by midday.  On the way home from church we went to the local garden centre where a bee was feasting upon some Christmas roses and a robin was fluttering around the roof.
Teasel confirms that the conditions at yesterday’s blip were very dangerous and part of the harbour wall at North Berwick about ten miles away has been badly breached with much damage.
