Busy day of lovely outdoors stuff.  Started with contacting J about some netting I heard he had and was keen to get rid of.  Very happy to take some off his hands to (finally!) get some proper netting over my fruit patch.  Home then into it.  It took a bit of planning and re-jigging from what had gone before but this netting is perfect, perfect, perfect.  I challenge any birds......or cats or hedgehogs.......to get into my strawberries now!  Big thanks to J :D

F popped in later in the afternoon and we enjoyed a nice chat in the garden.  Lovely to feel some warmth in the sun.

Final thing - lawns.  Trying something a wee bit different this time - a mulch mow.  The downside is that there's no clippings to spread around the gardens but the upside is - I hope! - going to be some nutrition fed back into the lawn. We'll see over time.

A final clean up then around the garden with the hose......feeling goooooood!  Hope the garden is too :D
