With the clocks going back last night, we had a lazy morning (well, I did - Deb ran round the lake). After lunch with a friend who's just celebrated their 40th Birthday, we took a walk down Derwentwater. Hard to believe it's 4 years ago today that we moved into our house - where has that time gone! Still consider ourselves so lucky that we can walk to Derwentwater from the house.

Just as the sun was sliding behind Catbells, the light turned golden, and the passing "last launch" provided a focal point to balance the foreground rocks.
