Good Friday

Driving home today is the best I have felt since being back in the UK. The sun was out and the countryside was looking good.
It's been a very long week, work has been really busy, just about feel as though I am catching up.
The house has been in chaos as they worked on our fire place and log burner while away so the lounge was covered in dust and grit, I hoovered and washed the floor as soon as we were back but it just seems dirty so we are decorating this weekend while everything is still out of the room!!??
So at the moment the kitchen contains some of the lounge furniture, the utility room contains boxes full of books and photos.
Upstairs the small bedroom has settee cushions in it, our bedroom isn't too bad just clean washing to put away. The other bedroom contains the ironing, quite a pile. The landing has three piles of washing on it ready to go, the washing line has two loads on it already, now we're out of washing liquid and pegs.
Hopefully by the end of Sunday I will feel as though the house has been reclaimed. Finger crossed!! P.S. the photo is part of my route home.
