Part way there.....

following the work on the fireplace we decided to decorate the lounge today so with some help from Geoff's colleague the room was emptied last night, painted and wallpapered today.
At the moment I'm not sure if I want to put anything back in, I quite like the minimal look. Geoff is struggling because I have rearranged the furniture which is normally his domain, now he knows how I feel when i come back to a rearranged room!!
I think the cushions will go, maybe not straight away as my plan is to knit some covers as soon as I can. (So much knitting planned, so little time!!!)
While this has been going on I have been making soup for lunch, giving upstairs a good clean and doing the ironing upstairs until it was time for the floor to be cleaned.
Now to cook dinner, no rest for the wicked :-)
