Ukraine has a new export route. The new Black Sea export corridor has led to a sharp increase in the number of rail wagons heading to the ports of Odesa region. Grain deliveries are up. In August, Ukraine launched a "humanitarian corridor" for ships bound for African and Asian markets to try circumvent Russia's blockade. The route runs along Ukraine's southwest Black Sea coast, into Romanian territorial waters, and to Turkey. 
The first U.S.-made F-16 combat aircraft donated by Netherlands will arrive in Romania's training center in two weeks. Denmark, Norway, and Belgium will also give F-16 jets to Ukraine.
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is promoting a "Ukraine facility" that would bundle grants, loans, and private and public investments alongside the grants Ukraine already had access to as a candidate for EU accession. He is encouraging German businesses to invest there.
