A harvest for all
Some enterprising councils have allocated space in their parks and gardens for small gardens of fruit, herbs and vegetables for all to tend, harvest and enjoy. Here a raised garden contains perennial herb plants which will continue to provide flavoursome herbs for all for years to come. Local residents, it seems, are free to harvest them at will. As an added bonus, these herbs produce some of the prettiest of flowers, attractive enough to rival many of the annual plantings seen in our parks. A flavoursome and colourful harvest for all to enjoy.
