Rails to nowhere
Tide Mills is a derelict village between Seaford and Newhaven, abandoned in 1939. It has quite a history, starting in the 1760s as a tide mill. The rails could have had various uses, incl to transport shingle and/or for seaplanes as it was also a seaplane base. Blip taken on a walk today in blustery conditions.... Seaford in the distance.
Tennis this morning, renovation work on what was my daughter's dolls house (an ongoing project, perfect for a wet, windy day) and yoga soon.
