Happy Wholloween!

Today was sunny, at least for a while, which felt lovely. I seized the opportunity to go for a walk before lunch, and took what I hope will be some quite nice photos, though they are just my usual landscapes, berries and leaves. This evening, though, I was required to photograph and collage J's pumpkin, as, in her view, if it wasn't on Facebook today there would be no point in sharing it at all. We were grateful for her lovely and skilled PA M, who arrived this morning with a beautiful, large gnarly pumpkin from her family's weekend pumpkin farm expedition. This is far better than a replacement for the one I had to throw in the compost bin a few days ago, and will probably make tastier soup too after a couple of evenings as a lantern.  We've done Oods and Cyerbmen before, but this is our first pumpkin Tardis. J quickly became a dedicated Dr Who fan when the series  was revived in 2005,and "can't wait" for the sixtieth anniversary special in November.
