Secret handshake

This is Steph. We have our own secret handshake. Every time we meet in passing we have to keep it real. Just like that. Her and her husband are some of the greatest people. First class all the way. Open as the sky but down to Earth and hilarious as they come. I will miss them and many others here it dawns on me in my final week teaching. For now, live it while you can and enjoy these moments.

Tuesday is two for $2 Tuesdays at the city park grille in Petoskey. Yeah! So of course, a short road trip was in order. Delicious local huma lupa licious pints, watching the red wings play, and cozying up with friends and conversation under a bust of Hemingway looking down from the bar. My favorite local beer, Bells two hearted ale, named after his short story, 'Big Two Hearted River', conjured up from his childhood days fly fishing the Fox river nearby in the Upper Peninsula. A mecca of sorts for fly fishermen and American literature buffs and a little bit of local history for you.
