Preparing....

for the loading of the glaze kiln! It's now on.....been a long day of glazing, decorating and in and out of the kiln! When i'm loading the kiln it always reminds me of the days when step classes were all the rage....i have to step up onto a cinder block to get into the bottom of the kiln, many, many times....up, in, down....up, in, down...and on and on until the whole kiln is full! just to give you an idea of amounts, this lot you see here would fit onto one shelf....and i get 5-6 shelves in the kiln, depending on height!

Half way thro this process i couldn't resist giving into the urge to dance wildly around the studio.... to this great song!! Luckily no one came in while i was being crazy :)
