When the boat comes in

Back to Blighty - disembarked at Newcastle, trying to remember which side of the road we drive in.
Home ward bound. Nice bit of blue sky and sun - beautiful autumn colours through Northumberland and the Borders. Slight set back as we couldn’t remember where our house key was. Possibly somewhere in the van? Who knows. Luckily our friend has the spare as she has been taking care of our house plants while we were away. So it was a lovely arrival to see her - and let us in the house!
Nice to be home - but rather shocked when it was dark at 5pm.
