Stormy

November has arrived, along with rain and wind, dark evenings and a feeling of a need to adjust the rhythm of my days and the activities I do after work. I find this transition more challenging than in the past but hopefully it is teaching me about myself and how to adapt to and find contentment in different circumstances.

As I type Storm Ciaran is moving in. The rain is lashing the windows and I’m hoping the 60 mph gusts of wind forecast in a few hours time are not as strong as predicted.

I thought this blip of calm colourful strawflowers dried and ready to form a garland might be a good antidote to all that weather!

Many thanks for your good wishes to Andy. His gum/jaw infection is currently improving so we are hoping that continues and he is soon able to eat more normally!
