The final

Well today was dominated by the Summer Cup Final for the Girls football team.

What a lovely evening for a game of football.

After a very close first half with each side having pressure the stripes scored a goal just at half time. A wee blow fro the Eco girls.

The second half the excitement continued, with both teams playing great football in a great spirit.

The stronger stripes managed to get their noses futher in front and it proved too much for the younger Eco girls.

The Eco girls were superb and never gave up. The stripes played well and probably deserved the victory.

Seven of the Eco girls will still be able to play next year as they were P5, P6 girls, so who knows what the future holds.

These girls have been great to coach and it will be sad to see the p7s go, all the best girls.

At the end both teams got their photo taken together, they all deserved credit for serving up a great game of football.
