Church flowers

An interesting day today with a few changes as I went along. It was the day I was going home and Lynn and Alec were driving back from London early due to storm warnings. They had a mixture of sharp torrential downpours and bright sunshine.

In the meanwhile this morning I took Annie out while it was sunny to freedom fields park and gave her a run around without lead which she loves! She likes to carry a stick but kept coming across cans that had been discarded indiscriminately! I collected four and took them to the bin to dispose of them. We then walked down the road to another park at the bottom of green bank and I made the mistake of letting her off the lead there and she immediately started chasing squirrels! She did come back fortunately! Whilst I was walking I got a call from Jan’s daughter Clare who said she could come and pick her up at 12.00 which was a very nice surprise!

I stopped to get a takeaway coffee from the cafe opposite the box and we chatted dogs and I gave her my number as a possible dog Walker! Odd how these things happen! Getting home I sorted out my stuff and packed and stripped the bed the waited for my friend jane to come for coffee before Clare came! She fell in love with Annie as everyone does! She had walked from home and fortunately got home before the torrential short sharp downpour happened! Clare very sweetly gave me a lift home through the rain!

Quick turnaround and I went out for afternoon tea with Tricia and her dogs, Toby and Tasha! And then went to visit a friend in derriford
