Inspired by Nature

The autumn colours have been so incredibly beautiful everywhere. Now the wind and rain are bringing them down to the ground.

I've never made anything in autumn colours before as my usual palettes are blues, pinks, lilacs, blue-greens, etc. So it was time for a change. These five granny squares were made in two days. Will I manage to make enough for a small throw by the end of November?  We'll see!  

I picked the leaves up in my direct neighbourhood yesterday and matched up my yarns to the colours!

We had quite heavy rain this morning with some wind, but now there are very tiny patches of blue in the sky. More rain expected!
