Man Bun, Beret and a Plait

Saturday is good for street scenes or crowded cafés!

After my marketing, I dropped in on the Coccinelle Café (see my cup and ladybird teapot at the bottom of the collage).

When there are crowds of people, it isn't easy to select a chosen group, so I cropped this photo to capture the four young people sitting at one of the high tables. They were happy and laughing and chatting and not one of them was on their mobile phone. That's what I call true human connection!

In fact, I was the one holding a mobile phone and taking a picture!! Apart from the foursome, was a blonde girl with a plait and her boyfriend, hence the word 'plait' in the title.  

My favourite person is the young man with a beret! I quite like man buns and young men with shoulder length hair, holding it together at the nape of their neck.  Perhaps I should have been young in this era - confident and relaxed and looking so natural.  The girls were natural too and laughing and not worrying about eye-liner or lip-gloss!
