I had every intention of getting out early today and capturing a great blip image but it just didn't happen so this shot was taken on a petrol station forecourt out of the window of my car on a whim on the way home from picking up my brother from the station and after our usual Friday evening pint based pit stop at The Red Bull.
This illuminated symbol consists of a "Helios"- named after the Ancient Greek god of the sun who drove his chariot across the sky each day - and features a green and yellow sunflower which is supposed to epitomise energy (albeit currently almost entirely generated in this case by fossil fuels) in its various and myriad forms.
