A Straight Up Lizard

Hurrah! My bad back has almost re-set itself and I was even able to get out for a rather gingerly early morning run. After all the thoroughly damp and gloomy weather of the last few days it was so good to see the sun again today.
Today's shot was taken in the early afternoon sunshine on a short stroll around the Peace Garden at The Friars (our local Carmelite Priory). This little fella seemed determined to bask in some rays whilst he still could. Although on second thoughts maybe he left it a bit too long! :-)
