Experiment

There are still apples coming down from the allotment but we have finished pressing them for juice so the remainder will be stewed for pies or stored for eating.  However, today I thought I would try something new and bake some of the Adam's Pearmains to make apple crisps.  They are really rather good, crispy and chewy to begin with, then the apple hit comes.  Apparently, if stored carefully they last up to three months.

Mid afternoon, Bev and I went for a hobble and just managed to avoid the heavy rain shower.

Shetland turned out to be good last night and we shall continue to watch the new series, trying to spot places we visited on our holiday.
