Listening intently...

...to Duran's Halloween album the day after 'the day after Halloween' (hope that makes sense)

The backstory is that on 31/10/2022 they performed a  special Halloween themed concert featuring darker tracks from their back catalogue along with some appropriately chosen covers from other artists. The enjoyment of this provided the impetus to recapture the vibe on an album and here we are. Is good too!

I don't buy many vinyls or much of any physical music media these days because streaming services, but love the ones I do so got the 2 disk version as the sound is usually more detailed. These are usually played at 33rpm like the single disk versions, but after 10 minutes listening to a very deep dark Norwegian-Metal sounding Simon Le Bon it became obvious your Gal hadn't read the sleeve notes and changing to 45rpm pepped things up a bit...you don't get these experiences listening to Spotify ;-D
