Last of Saturdays sunshine

Last full day today, and that means packing, or at least that's what's to be done after relaxing some more.

After yet another lazy start, we hopped in the hire car and made for Cabanas de Tavira to see if the boat was running over to the sand bank, only to discover it wasn't mores the pity. Plan B then was to hop back in and drive a little further to tiny Fabrica.

Fabrica sits near another nice spot called Cacela Velha, however youngest wanted sand today rather than history so Fabrica it was. There is a nice restaurant we discovered there overlooking the lagoon & sandbank across the water and so enjoyed a tuna salad each before installing ourselves near the waters edge to spend some chill time reading, soaking up some rays & saying Olá to a happy Labrador that kept waddling over for a paddle.

Afterwards we mosied on back to Tavira for one last ice cream sat near the Roman Bridge, people watching and not saying a great deal because....devouring ice cream demands concentration & meditation in equal measure ^_^

Back at the apartment and with less than an hour of sunshine remaining, I opted to sit outside on a wall, reading a few more % of ebookery & reflecting on the week. Youngest has mostly had a relaxing time of it which has been nice to be part of, although is now in her own words "...missing Nova" so she will be glad to head home tomorrow.

Your Gal here will miss the mostly warm weather but she is also missing Biscuit, a pang twanged all the more whilst eating her ice cream and spotting a Royal Enfield Meteor on Spanish number plates bimble past :-)
