Start of a Road Trip

DH has a work event - training, or meetings, or something - in Cumbria next week.  We're heading down to Edinburgh overnight, then on to stay with our friend in Southport.  DH will go to work, I'll occupy myself somehow or other - perhaps a day trip to L'pool.
