Fourteen...

...inglorious years, apparently. Some horrible stuff has happened during that time, but happy that Blipfoto still somehow survives and is still the nicest place on the internet. Thanks to all blip friends (and strangers) for all your information, comments, encouragement, etc - and of course all the great photos!

I finally finished the new Shwook hat last night (a Hazel Tindall design), so thought how appropriate it would be to use a red balloon to stretch it today. Found a red balloon, then discovered that I was unable to blow it up (not sure if that's the sore rib, or just general decrepitude), but fortunately DaveH was able to oblige. Realised that the first photo I took of it em-ballooned didn't include the cheeky line of bright yellow near the crown, so added another one in. The yellow seems to have gone some way to reducing the impact of the bright green! It's big enough for my enormous napper, though, which is the main thing.
