Western Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly at Lime Kiln

What a day we had...headed out a bit after lunch and did a full tour of the island. We were hoping to see whales on the west side, but did not see one. They have been gone since the 9th. But we did go to Cattle Point and Lime Kiln Point, where I got to see the swallowtail butterfly and a flicker. The Cattle Point area is beautiful...an almost 270 view of the ocean and surrounding islands. Really just spectacular!! We were gone almost 5 hours and let me just say that I'm pooped.
Bob cooked me burgers tonight...what a dear he is!
