Foodies Unite

It’s school fete season. After 15 years in Canberra we finally made it to La Grand Fete, one of the major events in the school fete calendar since it is put on by the “French” school (a state school that has two streams, one “normal”, one following the French curriculum). So there’s a very strong French theme and lots of commercial stalls in keeping with this.My husband was after some French books but didn’t find anything of interest, although we did have some raclette and bought some delicious salami for lunch. Interesting, but we prefer our old school fete, which was much less commercial.
