Sun and rain

We walked down to the Tees Street Café this morning and had a leisurely breakfast, then walked back home again.  The sun was shining and it was good to get out for a walk.  


MrMacD sorted out a couple of issues while I made yoghurt.  We then sat down and went through the quote we’ve received for a radiator heating system, noting down questions that we want to ask.  It was good to get that done.  I had a long conversation with a friend who’s had a tough time this year.  Hopefully my just listening while she talked helped.  After that we went out and bought ten roses (all perfumed) and two abutilons (one red, one yellow).  MrMacD has some work to do!!  We measured the set of curtains that were taken down when the ranchslider was installed yesterday and put them on the Oamaru Today page.  They’ve now gone to a new home just around the corner.  

We had some good, heavy rain, so the garden is well soaked, but MrMacD still had to water the tomato plants in the greenhouse.
