Oysters, oysters everywhere
We woke to sunshine and checked out of our little apartment by 10 and headed into town for a last walk around.
I bought an expensive jumper in a little boutique. I saw it the other day but thought no until I saw a cardigan in White Stuff for the same price and with Mr Cs encouragement I bought it . We walked down to The Lobster Shack for an early lunch of dressed crab ~ Mr C had wanted a crab sandwich and this was like a deconstructed one that we shared.
The plan was to pop in to see Mr Cs brother whose wife has recently been diagnosed with a brain tumour, secondary to lung cancer but she wasn’t up to it which was fine. So we rang Mr Cs uncle who also lives not too far away. Yes, come over he said but rang back 5 minutes later to say he had forgotten that he needed to take his wife for physio after a hip op a couple of weeks ago. No problem. We headed home , an easy journey of around 1.5 hours and getting us home about 2:30.
We enjoyed our couple of days away and we were very lucky with the weather considering how it could have been.
Another collage extra.
