Floods

After the excitement of yesterday it was a late start and lazy morning. I did clear emails down though, so that at least was was useful.

We are at Jeri's now and my Blip shot was taken on the way over. The sun was low in the sky and creating lovely light on the still - flooded Trent. We parked in the fishing car park and walked over to take some shots. It was an incredibly muddy walk!

The sun may have made the scenery look extra beautiful but it made driving/passengering very challenging. It was very low in the sky and extremely bright. Nowhere we positioned the visors made a great deal of difference. This time of year is not the best for car travel.

We are now at Jeri's and looking forward to a lovely meal of steak (fake in my case!) sweet potato wedges, asparagus and green beans!
