Buds of November

I would have expected the Nerine to have given up the ghost after all the rain and winds of the past week. So it was wonderful to see this "cross your heart" Nerine in bud and about to burst open which it's bound to do given the warm sunshine today.

It was a beautiful dry day too, ceratinly one for getting out and walking. I went through the Nore Barn Woods en route to the pub at Langstone. The woods were rather lovely, albeit a tad drippy overhead and wet underfoot (see extra). Wellies or strong boots are needed to wade through some parts!
