It was a lovely sunny day, with no wind, so Archie and I decided to go to Astley Ainslee hospital grounds. It's set in large groinds, and is comprised of many different departments, all in different buildings in the grounds Actually, it's prime residential land, and I fear the hospital's days are numbered. There are many large old trees in the grounds, so there's a group of locals who are determined to save them, if not the older buildings.
There weren't many autumn trees, or else I was in the wrong place, but we had a nice walk. There were mnay signs telling dogs (or their owners) to stay on the lead, but most of the dogs we saw, hadn't read them. (4,906 steps).
When I came home, I spent the rest of the day watching YouTube videos on the iPhone 15 Max Pro. Endless tips and tricks. But everybody, without exception, talked far too fast, with absolutely no pauses to take a breath, or to let some amazing tip sink in. Sometimes, I kept stopping the video to try things, but usually I just fell asleep - even though I found it fascinating and want to learn as many of the tips as I can - these videos would be the perfect thing when I have one of my sleepless nights.
JR didn't want us to come into town with her - we slow her back. And she was away for hours. (18,202 steps!! Not counting the 2kms she did on the treadmill in the gym). She's on a mission to organise the perfect Christmas table settings. Not for Christmas Day - we're having the girls over the week before. She was very pleased with her purchases today. Anyway, this way Archie gets two big walks instead of one.
This photo is a screen shot of a photo which was too big to upload. I wanted to try the maximum resolution, to see if I could see any difference. I didn’t, but the file size was a massive 48MP, 112.3 MB!!! ie - unusable for all but professional photographers. This screen shot is, by contrast, only 1MB, which is rather too small ! That’s my experiment finished.
