Good intentions

Yesterday, the school installed a flashing yellow light, telling cars to go Yavas - slowly. They added a pedestrial crossing between the science building and the student lounge - which can only be visited by residential students after school hours. Huh? Then they installed a railing that prevents students from using the crosswalk. Somewhere between planning and execution, something went sideways. RIght now, it feels like a metaphor.
