Unexpected event on my return home

Bizarrely couldn't upload the image I wanted to, but this keeps the theme.

Met up with good friend Justin Gilbert from a Channel to Med ride earlier this year. I had a fantastic cycle ride to Bucklebury in glorious sunshine, blue skies and perfect light for the numerous other photos of the autumn colours I've chosen to keep to myself!

This photo captures a snippet of the Cyclocross competition which I literally stumbled across on my way home. Between sunshine and showers, friendly folk from numerous clubs in the South made their muddy way up and down the area normally occupied by the horseracing strings of the Balding family.

Since the cake and coffee had settled in the previous 20 miles I topped up with currywurst and "belgian twice-fried chips" before heading home.
