Down she came

I could see something orange up the hill and could not work out what it was. At first glance I thought it was a pumpkin but then it moved. It was the helmet of a tree surgeon. I watched as he careful cut down one of the dead trees. An elm that died a few years ago. I thought he might take down the rest but he disappeared after this one came down.
A day that got wetter and wetter and we had to go out to Eden Court to see ‘ An evening without Kate Bush’. I’m glad we went as it was very funny. A lot of audience participation , luckily we escaped ;)
The rain had stopped for our journey home .
