Civita di Bagnoregio
Day 1 of our Tuscan holiday.
Started out with Triinu at 3 am after a sleepless half of a night. It had just started snowing and it kept snowing most of the way to Helsinki-Vantaa airport.
In Rome we got the rented car and headed of towards Tuscany, stopping on the way in Bagnoregio to see the unique old town, Civita di Bagnoregio. Unfortunately our schedule was a bit tight and we didn't prepare for the long walk from parking to the bridge and back, so ended up not walking over to the actual target, but admired the view, took photos and had ice cream and coffee near the bridge. Perhaps better stay the night next time.
We arrived in our accommodation in Pienza at 5 pm just before the sunset. After settling down and having a dinner at the hotel restaurant, we went for a walk in the old town. A quiet street view in the extra. The streets were not really quiet though, as there were many people in Halloween costumes about.
Back home it snowed 15-20 centimetres and Jussi did a round of snow ploughing.
