First winter sunrise of the year

I remarked to Mr A, when I opened the curtains first thing before we had breakfast, that the crane over the way, which at that point was sporting a red light at its tip, would ruin our balcony sunrises this year. Actually, that was not true, as this photo, taken somewhat later after the light had been extinguished and the colours had brightened up, definitively proves.

It was the dawn of a decent day, weatherwise, but unfortunately I got to enjoy very little of it, because I was stuck indoors doing stuff. I did get to walk across to the off licence just before dinner to pick up some beer and I managed a peloton workout as part of the programme I'm following, but for the rest I was glued to my desk and my screens.

A few more university challenges this evening, as we continue our catch up process.
