Blues

The latest piece to come out of the kiln, an alternative way to use the 'spheres' that I am keen on.  Also another trial for two of the new glazes, they work well over the textured surface.  The colours much brighter than some of our other glazes.  Deeper reliefs will give greater colour contrasts I think .... watch this space!

A busy day on the catching up front.  A lot of ticks on the admin list and a couple on the housework list.   It's still a long list :-/   I took Jamie and the dogs to the ball field around sunset.  Much fun was had.  Food then after more admin - second draft of the latest complaint letter to Birmingham City Council.  I'm not a natural complainer, preferring gentle negotiations but sometimes you reach a point where there's no alternative.  

Ninety minutes at pottery finishing glazing three bowls made mostly to test new glaze combinations was good therapy.  Finished the evening a tad late at Jamie's.   A busy one ahead tomorrow.
