Oblivious

Whilst there are plenty of berries on the trees, the apples on the ground tend to be ignored. However, this morning I spotted a female pecking away. She was quite oblivious to two males who both arrived and then chased each other away. Clever girl! 

A lovely Autumn day today, but by the time we realised this, I was well into cleaning the living room. This doesn't happen often as it means moving all the piles of books that have accumulated on the floor and other places. Anyway, it was nice to be doing this with doors and windows open for a change. And at least the sun didn't show up grubby windows . . . I had just cleaned them!
